On 19 December 2009, Queensland Mines and Energy (QME) issued a media release stating that the energy retailer Jackgreen had ceased operation [download media release].
This meant that Retailer of Last Resort arrangements were implemented.
Detailed information about how this affects Jackgreen customers can be found on the Queensland Competition Authority website.
As stated in the QME media release, about 17,500 Jackgreen customers will automatically transfer to the following designated Retailers of Last Resort:
In the first instance, former Jackgreen customers who have an enquiry or problem should contact their new retailer. However, if you are not able to identify your new retailer or resolve a problem please contact EOQ.
